Open the DMG, then drag Frame Record into the Applications folder.

In Applications, open Frame Record, then close the warning displayed by macOS.
- 3Open Privacy & Security
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, then scroll down to Security.
- 4Click “Open Anyway”
Confirm with Touch ID or your password. You only need to do this once.

Which Macs are compatible with Frame Record?
The same Universal 2 DMG works on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 15 or later. Intel Macs that cannot install macOS 15 are not compatible.
Are my videos uploaded to the cloud?
No. Recordings, clicks and exports are processed directly on your Mac.
Can I edit automatic zooms?
Yes. Change their position, duration, intensity and focal point, or add your own manually.
Can I edit videos inside Frame Record?
Yes. Split and remove sections, add multiple styled text layers using every font on your Mac, and place images or video clips anywhere on the timeline.
Which formats can I export?
Frame Record exports MP4 videos in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, from 720p up to Ultra HD 4K.
How do I record my screen on Mac?
In Frame Record, choose Entire Screen, Window or Area, select video quality and audio, then start recording. You can trim the video, edit zooms and export an MP4 afterward.
Can I record one window or a selected area on Mac?
Yes. Frame Record can capture your entire Mac display, one specific app window or an area you draw with the pointer.
Which license should I choose?
The monthly plan is €9.90 and can be canceled anytime. The lifetime license is a single €99 payment.
