Prepare macOS permissions
On first use, macOS requests Screen Recording and Microphone access. Grant only the permissions you need, then reopen the app if the system asks for it.
Frame the Mac before recording
A window keeps the desktop out of view, a custom area enlarges a dense interface and full screen works across several apps. Disable notifications before capture.
Automatic zooms that remain editable
Click detection can prepare a first set of zooms. Disable it before recording when unnecessary, or move, shorten and delete individual events on the timeline.
Local editing and rendering
Recordings and rendering stay on the Mac. Trim, cut and compose the video before exporting an MP4 for the web, a presentation or YouTube.
