Full screen, window or area on Windows

Use a full display when moving between apps, a window to isolate one program, or a custom area when only part of an interface should be visible.

Should you record at 30 or 60 fps?

Thirty fps keeps files smaller for calm interfaces. Sixty fps preserves fast animation and gameplay motion when the PC and source can sustain it.

Capture performance and hardware encoding

Frame Record uses the Windows capture pipeline and prioritizes available hardware encoding. Close heavy background apps and avoid a resolution above what the final video needs.

Edit and export on the PC

Cuts, zooms, layers and transitions remain editable in the project. H.264 MP4 offers broad playback support across browsers, media players and video platforms.

What Frame Record actually includes
